Youth Network Connect partners with Dear Youth SA to empower African youth

Youth Network Connect, a leading Zimbabwean youth organization, has formed a strategic partnership with Dear Youth SA, a South African non-profit organization, to empower African youth and drive economic development. The partnership is aligned with Zimbabwe’s “Open for Business” ideology and aims to unlock the potential of young people across the continent.

Philimon Nyirenda, the Managing Director of Youth Network Connect, emphasized the importance of youth empowerment in Africa. “The African continent is rich with skilled youth and resources, and young people are increasingly embracing change-making and economic revolution,” he said, adding that the partnership offers a valuable opportunity for young people to develop their leadership skills, explore entrepreneurship, and contribute to a more prosperous Africa.

Dear Youth SA, based in Durban, South Africa, shares a similar vision of nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit and leadership potential of young people. Sabelo Mkhize, the chairperson of the organization, highlighted its commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and empowerment. “We believe that young people have the power to drive positive change in their communities,” he said. “Our partnership with Youth Network Connect will provide them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.”
