Visually impaired community mourns loss of Cde Tshinga Dube

The Bulawayo public library’s visually impaired community are mourning the loss of Cde Rtd Col Tshinga Dube, who passed away at Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo due to kidney failure on Thursday night.
“Cde Tshinga Dube will be remembered for his humbleness and unwavering support for the visually impaired community,” said Killion J Dube, Braille Library Coordinator. “He was always willing to lend a helping hand, providing material and moral support to our fundraising efforts.”
Cde Dube played a pivotal role in improving the disability department, ensuring that requests were met with prompt action. “He had a passion for disability rights and was selfless in his commitment,” Dube added.
Recalling Cde Dube’s dedication, Dube said, “Regardless of his status, he would often work late into the night, ensuring everything was in place for our events. He was a true friend and champion of our institution.”
The visually impaired community has lost a loyal advocate, but his legacy lives on. “Heroes never die,” Dube concluded. “May his dear departed soul rest in peace.”
Cde Tshinga Dube’s legacy will be remembered for his tireless advocacy, selfless leadership, and humility. His dedication inspired countless individuals, and his impact will continue to inspire future generations.
