Trio wanted for Nyamandlovu murder

Police are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of three men, Thabiso Sibanda from Sydnum Farm, Doubt Sibanda, Ndumiso Macikizana both of Stanghood farm.
The trio wanted in relation to a murder allegedly committed Monday morning in Nyamandlovu.
According to Matabeleland North Police Spokesperson Inspector Glory Banda, the deceased has been identified as Xolisani Ndlovu aged 43.
“Circumstances are that Ndlovu and his friends Jabulani Masuku, Mayibongwe Ndlovu and Mpiyezwe Ngwenya were drinking beer at Stanhope shopping centre. Around 12 midnight they left Stanhope shopping centre for their respective homes and the accused persons caught up with them and demanded their knobkerrie from Ndlovu and friends who denied any knowledge of the whereabouts of the knobkerrie. They then attacked Ndlovu and friends using unknown sharp objects and in the process Ndlovu’s friends managed to escape leaving Ndlovu at the mercy of his enemies who continued attacking him and left him unconscious,” he said.
According to Inspector Banda an informant who heard Ndlovu scream went on to investigative and found Ndlovu lying on the ground, took him to his home and rushed him to Mpilo Hospital in Bulawayo. Unfortunately his efforts were in vain as Ndlovu reportedly passed on at Nesby Farm on the way to Mpilo Hospital.
Inspector Banda hailed members of the public in his jurisdiction for assisting police in resolving crimes. He discouraged members of the public from engaging in violent behaviours to avoid loss of life.
