Priest donates wheelchair to Lupane man

A Catholic priest originally from St George village in Jotsholo Ward ,Lupane has donated a wheelchair to a young man living with disabilities.

Father Mgcini Moyo’s philanthropy saw him donate a wheelchair to 28-year old Shepherd Mkandla after noticing and responding to his plight.

Mkandla’s father ,Mandla  said the family have always been getting promises  from well-wishers but no one had actually assisted them to date.

“This is the first time someone actually came back to assist us after making a promise .We have always been getting promises from many people. The department of Social Welfare in Lupane also promised to help but they never came through for us. Shepherd can neither walk nor crawl, so we have had to carry him”, said Mkandla
