Philanthropy meets education in virtual event

On October 27, 2023, the FINWIN club at Mittal School of Business organized a virtual event via Google Meet, aimed at guiding students through the scholarship application process to pursue studies in India.
The event was meticulously overseen by Mr. Anoop Mohanty, who is Assistant Professor for the Course Micro Finance at MSB. Adding to the magnanimity of the occasion, Mr Warren Chishiri, the director of Sky Global Education from Zimbabwe , generously sponsored the event. Notably, the surplus funds from this sponsorship found a noble purpose as they were channeled towards providing essential food hampers to the underprivileged individuals associated with the Guru Nanak Mission in Phagwara.
This event beautifully exemplified how education and philanthropy can come together to make a positive impact in the community, benefiting both students and those in need.
