Nkulumane MP to hold victory celebrations with constituents
Member of Parliament for Nkulumane Constituency, Desire Moyo affectionately known as Moyoxide is set to celebrate with his constituents in mid-November following his election into parliament on 23 August 2023.
In a message seen by Community Podium, Moyo extended an invitation to all members of the constituency as he said the gathering will give the community an opportunity to embark on a development agenda.
“I extend to all an invitation, a resonating call to attend the Siyabonga-Victory Citizens Celebration. This gathering is set to take place Mid-November at a date to be announced soon, we will not only celebrate our victory but also pave a way for real development in our constituency. This will be a moment of unity, solidarity and renewal of hope.Let us make this moment the first chapter of a new story for Nkulumane, a story filled with promise, prosperity and the resounding voice of progress. I am truly excited to embark on this journey with you, my fellow residents.”
Moyo took to the opportunity to assure his constituency that he will remain a grounded leader whose agenda is based on the development of the community.
“I pledge to be a humble servant of the people, a representative that will listen to everyone regardless of gender, race, creed or political affiliation, together we shall transcend our differences for we are one community with one shared destiny.”
Moyo polled 9880 votes to clinch the victory in the 23 August Harmonised Elections.
