New wheelchair for Ncube after forty years

Zimbabweans based in Australia have donated a wheelchair for a disabled Bulawayo man who had been using a single wheelchair for 40 years.
Mr Nelson Ncube from Emakhandeni suburb recently appealed to well wishers for donations to get a new wheel chair.Ncube expressed gratitude to his donors saying the wheelchair will enable him to resume his normal duties.
“I want to thank these kind-hearted brothers for assisting me may they never get tired of doing good and may God bless them. I was going through a tough time with the previous wheelchair, I was no longer doing my favourite activities such as going to church” said Ncube.
One of the organisers, Beke Ngoma said they were happy to assist the elderly in the community.
“We identified at least 30 elderly people in our community whom we assist with groceries every month. One day we had a meeting with them and we were shocked to learn that Ncube arrived about two hours after the meeting had ended because he crawled to the meeting. We are very happy to assist the elderly in any way we can,” said Ngoma.
The following Zimbabwean community members based in Sydney, Australia, made cash contributions towards purchasing of the wheelchair, and groceries for Mr Ncube namely Canaan Banda, Jackie Makuzha., Mandla Moyo Merciline Mangwana and Blessed Murugani
