Nevada Warriors FC seek sponsorship for 2025 season

Worringham-based Nevada Warriors Football Club, an Under 20 team, is seeking sponsorship in cash or kind after their application to play in the ZIFA Southern Region Division 3 league was granted for the 2025 season.
The club wants to fulfill all the requirements set by ZIFA, including club constitution, club executive structure, technical structure, bank account, equipment (computer and printer), registration of home ground, registration of club colors, affiliation fee (US$600), and match fees (US$39) for referees on home games.
“We are in dire need of assistance as we try to embark on this new journey with our club and trying to keep our youths out of drugs and alcohol,” said the club’s secretary general, Terence Maphosa.
The team consists of Under 13s, 15s, 17s, and the Under 20s, with most players still in school. According to Maphosa, the team is focused on developing young talent and grooming them for higher divisions.
“We are looking at young talent as we are developing young boys to become better players, we will stick to young talent just like teams like Ajax Amsterdam and Celtic in Europe,” said Maphosa.
Maphosa emphasized that the team’s vision is to produce talented players who can compete at the highest level. He believes that with the right support, the team can achieve great things.
“We believe that with the help of sponsors, we can achieve our goal of developing young talent and competing at the highest level. We are committed to producing a team that will make our community proud,” said Maphosa.
The club is calling on local businesses and individuals to support their cause. Any form of sponsorship, whether financial or in-kind, will be greatly appreciated.
