First Lady Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa inspires learners at Mat North provincial fair

First Lady Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa recently graced the inaugural Matabeleland North provincial career fair at Binga high school in Binga District, where she urged learners to prioritize their education and shun drug and substance abuse.

The event which was attended by learners, teachers and parents’ representatives from all the seven districts of Mat North, aimed to expose learners to a diverse range of career opportunities and trades, helping them to make informed decisions about their future professions.

In her keynote address, Dr. Mnangagwa emphasized the importance of focus and determination in achieving one’s dreams.

“I encourage you all to stay focused on your studies and avoid distractions like drug and substance abuse, your education is the key to unlocking your potential and pursuing your passions,” she said.

The career fair featured exhibitors and presentations from various institutions, colleges and universities while providing students with valuable insights into potential career paths.

The event was a groundbreaking initiative for Binga District, offering the community unique inspiring words and the exposure to new career possibilities.
