Lupane business expo on the cards

The Zimbabwe Education Fund Trust (ZIMEF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, will host a Provincial Business Expo in Lupane from June 14-15. The event will take place at the Lupane Bus Terminus.
“We are expecting exhibitors from across the province of Matabeleland North and beyond,” said Gibson Mwinde, The founder and Chief Executive Officer of ZIMEF. “The expo is open to NGOs, corporates, SMEs, and individual entrepreneurs.”
The two-day event aims to provide a platform for businesses and organizations to showcase their products and services to a wider audience. It also presents networking opportunities and the chance to explore potential partnerships and collaborations.
“This expo is a crucial initiative that will help stimulate economic activity and growth in the region,” Mwinde explained. “By bringing together diverse stakeholders, we hope to facilitate knowledge sharing, identify new market opportunities, and support the development of small and medium enterprises.”
The expo will feature a wide range of exhibitors, including manufacturers, service providers, agricultural producers, and crafters. Visitors will have the chance to engage with exhibitors, attend seminars and workshops, and learn about the latest trends and innovations in various industries.
“We’re particularly excited to see the participation of SMEs and individual entrepreneurs,” Mwinde said. “These are the backbone of our economy, and this expo will provide them with a valuable platform to showcase their capabilities and connect with potential customers and partners.”
