Zifa Southern Region Division One pacesetters Hwange who are leading the table visit Binga-based side, Binga Pirates on Saturday for match day 14.
Pirates who face disciplinary action on allegations that their technical team incited fans and and participated in the the assault of a referee whom they accused of bias when they lost 1-2 at home to ZPC Hwange some weeks back.
Hwange, on a high after their weekend victory over second placed Arenel, might prove too hot for Binga Pirates.
Hwange assistant coach Obert Moyo revealed that his team trained very well and are prepared for the game.
“Preparations have been going on well. We are preparing for the game just like any other match though the games have been getting tougher as the league progresses. Every match is a cup final for us. We want to go and give a good account of ourselves and hopefully get a positive result”, said Moyo.
The coal miners are eyeing to extent their unbeaten run to 17 games and look a 9 point lead with a tally of 45 points if they beat sluggish Pirates which is sitting on 14th position with 13 points after 16 rounds of play.
Fifth placed Indlovu Iyanyathela which had their 14th match postponed like Hwange FC has a double fixture this week, having played the other game on Wednesday where they locked horns with Casmyn in a match which ended up in one all draw. A midweek week draw means Indlovu Iyanyathela remains on 5th position with 27 points. Over the weekend they are visiting power distributing boys ZPC Hwange at Ingagula where harmless Mainline was shocked and suffered a 3-0 deficit.
