Tshabangu purges more CCC representatives

Self-declared interim secretary general Sengezo Tshabangu has recalled a further 13 CCC MPs  from the National Assembly and 5  senators from the Upper House.

Earlier on today, CCC lawyer Obey Shava said High Court judge Justice Chitapi suspended any further recall of CCC Members of Parliement, senators and councillors by Sengezo Tshabangu or any persons, pending the determination of the matter that is before the high court but a few hours later, Speaker of Parliament announced the recalls.

Influential organising secretary, Amos Chibaya, who is also CCC’s Chief Whip in parliament, and deputy spokesperson Gift Siziba are among the axed MPs whom Tshabangu claims, have “ceased” to be members of the CCC.
