78-year old hangs from tree

BULAWAYO-Police in Bulawayo are investigating a case of sudden death by hanging in Parkview.
According to Bulawayo police Spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube, the deceased 78 year-old Themba Moyo of Gwabalanda was discovered “hanging from a tree branch with a plastic rope in a bush area,” on the 22nd of April 2022 behind Zuva Garage in Parkview.
A vaccination card found in Moyo’s pocket assisted police in locating his relatives. His remains were conveyed to Bulawayo United Hospitals awaiting post moterm.
It is alleged that the now deceased owed a lot of people money which he used to collect by promising them a house to rent.
“Police are urging members of the public to share their problems with others or approach counsellors, church leaders or other relevant people in order to avoid such cases,” said Inspector Ncube.
