Police launch manhunt on alleged wife killer

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched a manhunt for a 43 year old man from Morningside in connection with his wife’s death.
Bulawayo Provincial Police Spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the development to Community Podium.
According to Insp Ncube, on Saturday, the suspect, Pascal Dube allegedly had a dispute with his wife Acqualine Sadziwa (35) over an undisclosed matter.
“Seeing the intensity of the arguement, a stay- in relative sought safety at a neighbour’s house and the two continued to argue and that is when he stabbed his wife on the back several times using a kitchen knife before hitting her with a stone on the head.”
The victim died on spot. Police are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Dube.
In another case, police in Bulawayo are also seeking information that may lead to the arrest of three more men who were allegedly involved in the murder of a 36 year old man Denage Moyo at Tilus Mine after he was accused of stealing a jack hammer on Tuesday.
Prince Sibanda, Romeo Ndlovu and Cobangani Ndlovu together with other four accomplices Anorld Ncube (24), Patrick Sibanda( 42), Welshman Ncube (22) Godfrey Zulu and Alick Zulu who have since been arrested ganged up on the man who sustained several injuries resulting from the assault.
The victim was admitted at United Bulawayo Hospitals were he succumbed to the injuries the following day.
Insp. Ncube urged members of the public to refrain from using violence whenever disputes arise. He also encouraged them to engage third parties for intervention.
